Walkies……….24th  May…….Scottish Coast to Coast

Depart 3am Dip toes/paws in Beauly Firth at Beauly. Cycle south west in dark via Kilmorack and Cannich
into Glen Affric. As rose-tinted dawn steals over the eastern portals we shall rendezvous with our support team,
Judy Dubrawski, Tracy Barlow, team leader Aster et al, where the forestry road ends in Glen Affric.
Arrive 6.30am in Glen Affric. Put bikes in vans, change into clean and dry walking clothes before
enjoying delicious breakfast made by support team. Depart 7.15/7.30am from Glen Affric. Walk steeply,
led by Aster, north west to take in 4 Munros, Tom a’Choinich, Carn Eige, Mam Sodhail and An
Socach. Munros are all Scottish peaks over 3000ft. This will involve about 5000ft of ascent and descent
before we regain the valley at Alltbeithe and walk out to Loch Duich on the west coast of Scotland.
